About

An EU-native PaaS
built by developers, in Europe.

Last updated: 2026-05-22

Why we built this

Most Platform-as-a-Service products treat the EU as an afterthought. Their default region is in the US. Their billing surfaces in USD. Their compliance pages mention “EU regions available on Enterprise.” For a small European team trying to ship a side project or an MVP, that gap is a daily friction tax.

Runsite exists to remove that friction. We run exclusively in our Frankfurt (eu-central) region — a single EU jurisdiction, no transatlantic data transfers, no fine print. We bill in EUR. We support GDPR by default — not as an upsell. We keep the developer experience close to what you already know from Heroku, Render, and Railway.

We are a one-region EU PaaS today. Additional EU regions are on the roadmap, but our priority is making the Frankfurt region rock-solid for indie developers and small European startups first.

How we operate

  • EU-only infrastructure. One region today: Frankfurt (eu-central). No US data transfers, no transatlantic backups.
  • Built for indie developers and small EU startups. Not enterprise-first. Free tier for side projects, EUR-denominated plans for production.
  • Predictable billing. Fixed monthly plans in EUR with hard spending caps and Telegram alerts.
  • Permanent free tier. No credit card required, no time limit.
  • Open documentation. Our docs are public at docs.runsite.app.
